1. Loosen the screw on the metal button to release tension from the balancer.
Tip: wear a protective glove while turning the metal button clockwise to release tension.
2. Remove the screw, washers and spring and pull up the metal button.
3. Pull the entire cable out of the top end of the ET2.2.
4. Pull the bended tube out of the tube clamp.
5. Turn the ET2.2 over, remove the back straps and loosen the two screws.
6. Turn the ET2.2 over again and loosen the tube clamp. Slide the plastic tube back into the bended tube.
7. Remove the tube clamp handle and lock nut.
8. Use a chisel to remove the cable from the tube clamp.
9. Place the cable in the new tube clamp and install the tube clamp handle and luck nut.
10. Slide the new tube clamp over the plastic tube and place the ET2.2 in upright position.
11. Tighten the two screws, make sure they fit into the recesses on the new tube clamp.
12. Attach the back straps, pull the strap through the top five loops.
13. Turn the ET2.2 over and secure the new tube clamp with the bolt and nut.
14. Slide the bended tube into the new tube clamp.
15. Wind up the cable by turning the metal button counterclockwise.
16. Turn the metal button an additional one or two turns when the cable is wound. Do not turn the button more than two times!
17. Place the screw, washers and spring back into the metal button.
18. Tighten the tube clamp handle to lock the bended tube and you’re done!
