We recommend mulching only when the grass is not too long, so that only a thin layer of clippings remains on the lawn.

Remove the collection bag, insert the mulch plug, and mount the mulching blade. The rotating blade distributes grass clippings across the lawn via the mower's underside. The clippings provide extra nutrients to the soil.
