The cable needs to be lubricated.
1. Turn the screw of the balancer several times to create a little space between ring and knob.
2. Pull up the knob to release the tension, it’s best to wear a glove or use a cloth when you do this.
3. Remove the knob, coil spring, screw and washers.
4. Pull out the cable completely.
5. Spray Teflon on a cloth and pull the cable through the cloth to lubricate it.
6. Mount back the knob and spring coil, make sure that the slot of the knob fits over the edge into the hole.
7. Turn the knob counter clockwise until the ball touches the top, you now have the right tension.
8. Mount back the washer and screw, pull the cable in and out several times.
