The rotor is blocked, what should I do?

The rotor may jam due to excessive accumulated material or remaining wood chips. Is there a blockage? First, check if you can resolve this and read the answer to the question: What to do in case of a blockage?

To unblock the rotor, the machine must be switched off. As an extra precaution, you can remove the spark plug cap or, in the case of an electric motor, unplug it from the socket. Usually, it is sufficient to place the supplied wrench on the rotor shaft in the bearing block and turn the rotor back slightly. In case of a severe blockage, the input and output must be removed and cleaned. Also remove any remaining wood chips on the rotor or inside the housing.
Caution: the blades are razor-sharp! Always wear cut-resistant gloves and use a branch or other tool to remove wood chips. Don't forget to check the blades at the same time.
