De Invasieve Exoten Trekker van GTM Professional is een slim ontworpen
product dat invasieve exoten en andere meerjarige houtige gewassen effectief
aanpakt, met respect voor de omliggende vegetatie.

Dankzij de doordachte
3-traps hefboomconstructie biedt deze bomentrekker een mechanisch voordeel van
maar liefst 10:1. Hierdoor kunnen planten met een stamdiameter tot 8 centimeter
moeiteloos worden verwijderd, zonder schade toe te brengen aan nabijgelegen
wortels of planten.

De robuuste, duurzame materialen garanderen jarenlang
gebruik, terwijl het ergonomische design de belasting op de rug aanzienlijk
vermindert. Op die manier combineert de Invasieve Exoten Trekker kracht,
controle en gebruiksgemak in één betrouwbaar hulpmiddel.

Met het
afneembare blokje kunnen ook smallere stammen en jonge zaailingen gecontroleerd
uitgetrokken worden. Zo kan het toestel zowel lichte als zwaardere vegetatie
probleemloos aan. Daarnaast is ook de hendel los te halen, waardoor de Invasieve

Elephants Trunk 3

De Elephants Trunk 3 is het nieuwe ergonomische harnas van GTM Professional
waarmee je heggen snoeit zonder vermoeid te raken. Het harnas wordt als een
rugtas gedragen en heeft een optimale ventilatie. Met de verstelbare schouder-
en heupbanden biedt de Elephants Trunk een comfortabele pasvorm voor ieder
lichaam.

De katrol op de rug heeft een trekkracht van 3 kg. Zo wordt een groot deel
van het gewicht van de heggenschaar uit handen genomen en verplaatst naar de
heupen. De Elephants Trunk kan tevens gebruikt worden voor ander draagbaar
tuingereedschap tussen de 4,5 en 8 kg, behalve voor kettingzagen. Het
gereedschap wordt middels de grote karabijnhaak aan het harnas bevestigd. Voor
batterij aangedreven heggenscharen en anders tuingereedschap met
tweehandsbeveiliging, gebruik het meegeleverde bevestigingskoord.

Via de geleide rollen beweegt de staalkabel soepel in iedere richting, ook
bij het werken boven je macht. De aluminium buis is draaibaar om te voorkomen
dat deze blijft steken in de heg. Bovendien is de buis in lengte verstelbaar én
volledig inklapbaar zodat je het harnas compact kunt opbergen of meenemen.

Een hele dag lang heggen snoeien? De Elephants Trunk 3 zorgt voor minder
spierpijn en meer rendement. Het vraagt minder inspanning van je lichaam zodat
je niet alleen sneller, maar ook veiliger werkt.

When you work with a motorized hedge trimmer for long periods of time, you quickly experience muscle fatigue or even painful shoulders and arms. Besides physical strain, your work speed and concentration often decrease, leading to potentially dangerous situations. That is something you want to avoid. Fortunately, hedge trimming can be done differently...
With GTM Professional's Elephants Trunk, the weight of the hedge trimmer is reduced by 3 kg. Through a pulley on the harness's lower back, the machine's weight is shifted from your arms to your hips. This significantly relieves the muscle groups you most use during hedge trimming.

The Elephants Trunk works similarly to an exoskeleton, but without expensive batteries. The pulling force is set to 3 kg. For example, if you're using a 5 kg hedge trimmer, you'll only be holding 2 kg with the Elephants Trunk. The frame and comfortable straps together ensure even weight distribution from the pulley system on the back.

The Elephants Trunk is simply worn like a backpack and offers optimal ventilation. With adjustable straps on both the shoulders and hips, the harness is suitable for almost any body type.

Once the harness is comfortably adjusted to your body, simply attach the hedge trimmer to the steel cable using the carabiner. For battery-powered hedge trimmers, use the supplied attachment cord.
