What is the maximum diameter of the branches you're going to chip? The indicated values are for fresh wood. For hard and dry wood, the maximum branch diameter is approximately 20% lower.

Compo model

Choose a compo wood chipper if you plan to process soft materials, such as ornamental grasses or leaves, in addition to branches. Because a compo model can process a wide variety of organic materials, it's the ideal machine if you want to compost green waste yourself.
A compo model comes standard with both a high and a low output. Also included are a push tool to compact soft material in the input and a grid to install in the low output for extra-fine chips. The finer the material, the faster it composts.

Turnable output

Turnable output
  • Yes (24)

Draaibare uitvoer

Choose a turnable output when it's important to collect wood chips in a specific location, for example, in a trailer without having to move it. A turnable output chute can rotate up to 270 degrees, but never towards the user.
The 600 and 750 are only available with a fixed output, while the 900 and 1300 are available with either a fixed or turnable output. All higher-class chippers (tracked, wheel-driven, or PTO) are equipped with a turnable output as standard.

Engine

Which drive is preferable? There are several advantages and disadvantages to consider.
A plug-in electric machine is easy to start and maintenance-free, but it can only be used near a power outlet. With a battery-powered machine, this isn't necessary, and you benefit from more freedom. However, a limited number of working hours must be taken into account.
A gasoline engine offers considerable flexibility in terms of range and operating hours, but it does require engine maintenance. A gasoline engine with electric start has the added benefit of no choking. Our PTO-driven wood chipper offers the same flexibility as a gasoline version and requires no engine maintenance, just a tractor with a cat. 1 connection.

  • 1800 (8)

Series

Our wood chippers are divided into different series, ranging from small to large. The 600 series is perfect for home use, while the 1800 series comprises the most advanced models for professionals. In between are the 750, 900, and 1300 series.

Displacement

Displacement
  • Manual (24)
  • Caterpillar tracks (5)
  • Tractor (1)
  • Wheel Driven (8)

Displacement

There are various chassis options for moving the wood chipper. The smaller models are easy to move manually by one person, especially on level surfaces. These machines have two wheels at the back. For our larger 1300 model, there is a 4-wheel set available for extra manoeuvrability.
Do you often work on uneven terrain, or do you regularly move the machine in a van or on a trailer? Then consider a self-propelled machine: either tracked or wheel-driven (with battery-powered wheels). Tracks are ideal for rough and muddy terrain, but be careful with a tightly laid lawn. Consider using driving plates to protect the lawn. A PTO-driven machine is connected to the tractor for moving.

750 Loncin

  • Wood chipper 750
  • Loncin G270F engine
  • 9 hp
  • Branches up to 7 cm

The 750 has the same compact dimensions as the 600, but even more capacity due to a wider and heavier rotor system. The wood chipper is equipped with a strong 9 hp Loncin engine and direct transmission to the chipping system.

Branches up to 7 cm are automatically pulled inside and shredded effortlessly, resulting in perfectly sized wood chips. The chipped material is ideal as ground cover in borders and garden paths. Next to branches, it is also possible to feed leaves or other soft material into the machine, so that garden waste can be repurposed as mulch or compost.

With an output height of 77 cm, a wheelbarrow easily fits underneath the machine to collect the chips. The deflector is adjustable up to 60° to determine the height of the ejected material. The 750 is perfectly balanced and stands on a robust frame with two pneumatic tires. The machine is easy to move by means of the double handles on the input. An emergency button is mounted on the frame that immediately stops the engine in emergency situations.

The 750 also has a folding function, so that the input can be tilted back to take up even less space in the storage. In addition, the folding function facilitates maintenance of the machine, such as when changing the blades.

Chippers for branches and green waste

Give pruning waste a second life

GTM Professional wood chippers

There are many different wood chippers and shredders available on the market, and we understand that it can be overwhelming to choose. That's why we've compiled a clear overview for you. First of all, there are different chipping systems, read more about this in this blog post.
The machines from GTM Professional are equipped with a rotor chipping system where the blade cuts across the wood fiber. Our chipping system consists of a metal drum with two PRO blades mounted on it, rotating at high speed along a counter blade. The pulling action of this system, combined with gravity, automatically pulls the branches inside. This process is fast and efficient.

In-house production and wide selection

GTM Professional wood chippers are developed by the Dutch family business De Wild BV, and production takes place in our own factory. All machines are extensively tested and meet the highest safety standards. In addition to the mandatory CE standards, our wood chippers are tested according to strict NEN standards, such as the forestry standard. Because safety and comfortable operation are paramount.
For small jobs or private use, GTM Professional has developed the 600, 750, and 900 series. For professional use and branch diameters from 10 cm and above, you can rely on the 1300 and 1800 series. A compo chipper is ideal when you want to chip soft organic material in addition to branches. These compo machines come with a high and a low output.
For more flexibility, choose a wood chipper with a turnable output. This allows you to blow the wood chips wherever you want, directly into a trailer or back into the garden as slow-composting fertilizer for your plants.

Engine options and displacement

GTM Professional offers various engine options within each series. A petrol wood chipper allows you to operate independently of a nearby power source. Our gasoline wood chippers are equipped with a Loncin or Honda engine. If you prefer an electric model instead of a fuel-powered one, the compact 600E is perfect for you. An electric wood chipper is quieter and starts easily with the push of a button.
There are also options for displacement, such as a wood chipper with caterpillar tracks or battery-powered wheels, and our 1800P model which can be connected to a tractor.
All spare parts, including new blades, are available for separate purchase and are typically immediately available. This way, you’re always assured of a reliable and durable machine.
