“Farmers from all over Latin America come to the National Institute for Organic Agriculture here in Costa Rica to learn how to grow crops in a sustainable way.
Creating and maintaining healthy soil is of great importance in this regard. We have various test fields at the institute and see clear results on the fields where we use the wood chips. The soil dries out less quickly and is full of life!
The pruning waste is immediately chipped and incorporated into the soil so that important nutrients are retained. Working with the GTM machine is always a favorite part for our students.”
