“JS Boomverzorging specializes in safety inspections, pruning, and felling trees. We perform these services for businesses and government agencies, as well as for private individuals. Part of our equipment is the GTM wood chipper, which we frequently use for private jobs. The advantage is that you can effortlessly reach anywhere, even the back of the garden. It saves a lot of dragging branches through the garden, which can sometimes cause damage. We spread the wood chips in flowerbeds, where they serve as compost or ground cover. Alternatively, we collect them in a mini-container and drive it to the company van, where we empty the bin onto the trailer.

I already owned a larger machine when I bought the GTM wood chipper in 2018, and I have to say that I use the small chipper the most now. It comes along on a job at least once a week. It is a user-friendly, compact, and maneuverable device. You pull the cord and it starts right away—simply perfect! I drive the machine straight into the company van using two ramps, so I have everything with me in one combination. It is a compact model, 80 centimeters wide, ideal for private ornamental gardens. In any case, it saves me a lot of hassle with a trailer. Due to its size and maneuverability, you can place this machine almost directly under a tree, so after pruning, chipping is a piece of cake. It is much more efficient than a larger machine that stays parked out on the street.”
