Remove the carabiner hook and ring from the end of the cable.<br \/>\n2. Remove the screw, washers, spring and metal button.<br \/>\n3. Loosen the two screws and remove the lid of the balancer.<br \/>\n4. Remove the housing and unwind the cable.<br \/>\n5. Unscrew the four screws, remove the lid and pull the cable out a little.<br \/>\n6. Cut the cable and pull it out of the housing.<br \/>\n7. Use a piece of tape to attach the new cable to the old one.<br \/>\n8. Pull both cables through the Elephants Trunk, so the new cable is inserted. Remove the tape and old cable.<br \/>\n9. Remove the stopping ball from the old cable by loosening two screws.<br \/>\n10. Remove the thimble by cutting the old cable.<br \/>\n11. Place the thimble on the end of the new cable that is at the top end of the Elephants Trunk by using a cable ferrule.<br \/>\n12. Clamp the cable ferrule tightly in two places.<br \/>\n13. Attach the stopping ball to the new cable approx. 25 cm from the thimple, using the two screws.<br \/>\n14. Pull the other end of the new cable through the housing and attach a cable ferrule. Clamp it tightly in two places and pull the cable ferrule into the housing.<br \/>\n15. Place the lid back on the housing, make sure the edge on the housing falls into the recess in the lid.<br \/>\n16. Tighten the four screws.<br \/>\n17. Place the balancer lid and metal button back on the housing.<br \/>\n18. Pull the new cable through the Elephants Trunk while placing back the balancer.<br \/>\n19. Tighten the two screws of the balancer.<br \/>\n20. Wind up the new cable by turning the metal button counterclockwise.<br \/>\n21. Turn the metal button an additional one or two turns when the cable is wound. Do not turn the button more than two times!<br \/>\n22. Place the screw, washers and springs back into the metal button and tighten the screw.<br \/>\n23.
