Loosen the screw on the metal button to release tension from the balancer.<br \/>\nTip: wear a protective glove while turning the metal button clockwise to release tension.<br \/>\n2. Remove the screw, washers and spring and pull up the metal button.<br \/>\n3. Pull the entire cable out of the top end of the ET2.2.<br \/>\n4. Pull the bended tube out of the tube clamp.<br \/>\n5. Turn the ET2.2 over, remove the back straps and loosen the two screws.<br \/>\n6. Turn the ET2.2 over again and loosen the tube clamp. Slide the plastic tube back into the bended tube.<br \/>\n7. Remove the tube clamp handle and lock nut.<br \/>\n8. Use a chisel to remove the cable from the tube clamp.<br \/>\n9. Place the cable in the new tube clamp and install the tube clamp handle and luck nut.<br \/>\n10. Slide the new tube clamp over the plastic tube and place the ET2.2 in upright position.<br \/>\n11. Tighten the two screws, make sure they fit into the recesses on the new tube clamp.<br \/>\n12. Attach the back straps, pull the strap through the top five loops.<br \/>\n13. Turn the ET2.2 over and secure the new tube clamp with the bolt and nut.<br \/>\n14. Slide the bended tube into the new tube clamp.<br \/>\n15. Wind up the cable by turning the metal button counterclockwise.<br \/>\n16. Turn the metal button an additional one or two turns when the cable is wound. Do not turn the button more than two times!<br \/>\n17. Place the screw, washers and spring back into the metal button.<br \/>\n18.
