Houtkliever model

For logs up to 52 cm long and 25 cm thick, horizontal log splitters are ideal. These machines are used on a table or workbench. A stand is optionally available to use the log splitter at standing height.
For larger logs and greater splitting power, choose a vertical log splitter. With these machines, the log is placed upright, after which the splitting blade moves vertically to split the wood.

Engine

An electric log splitter is easy to start and requires no engine maintenance. Various electric models are available with 5, 7, or 8 tons of splitting force.

Do you need more power (14 or 22 tons of splitting force) or prefer to work independently of a power source? Then choose a log splitter with a gasoline engine or a PTO drive.

GTL22000 for tractor

The GTL22000P log splitter from GTM Professional has a splitting force of 22 tons. It processes logs up to 110 cm in length and 35 cm in diameter. This PTO driven logsplitter (excluding PTO-shaft) is suitable for tractors with cat. 1 connection (min. 15 hp).

The wedge covers a distance of 94.5 cm with two possible speeds: 7.1 cm/sec at full power or 13.9 cm/sec when fast movement is required. The return of the wedge is infinitely adjustable in height.

The lifting cylinder ensures that the log splitter can be quickly put into use. In addition, the cylinder can be lowered completely for easy transport of the machine in a van or for compact storage in the barn.

What types of log splitters are available?

GTM Professional offers both horizontal and vertical log splitters. For wood blocks up to 52 cm long and 25 cm thick, horizontal log splitters are the ideal choice. These compact table-top models are available with a splitting force of 5 or 7 tons. A stand is optionally available for use at standing height.
For larger logs, you can choose a vertical log splitter with 8, 14, or even 22 tons of splitting force. The log is positioned upright, and the splitting blade moves vertically to split the wood. Vertical log splitters perform the work that would be impossible with a hand axe: splitting logs up to 110 cm long into even pieces. Additionally, with a split scross, which is available as an option for all our log splitters, you can split the logs directly into four pieces.

Electric, petrol, or PTO-driven

After pruning or felling trees, branches are usually processed into chips with a wood chipper. However, tree trunks and thick branches are perfect for turning into firewood, giving all the pruning waste a new purpose!
An electric log splitter is ideal for smaller logs. Our horizontal log splitters are equipped with a 230V electric motor safely mounted at the bottom of the frame. For more power, choose a vertical electric log splitter. Our GTL8000 model is available with a 230V or 400V electric motor.
If you're looking for a powerhouse that can be used independently of a power source, then a petrol log splitter is the way to go. With two rubber tires and a tow bar, such a machine is easy to move. You can also choose a PTO-driven log splitter to connect to a tractor. These professional GTL14000 and GTL22000 models also have an adjustable wedge operating speed.

For example, the horizontal log splitters have a cage construction that provides extra protection against falling logs. A rigid chassis keeps the machine well-balanced and ensures no loss of splitting power.
The upright models comply with the strict safety standard for agricultural and forestry machinery, NEN-EN 609-1:2017. Therefore, these log splitters are highly suitable for professionals in the agricultural and forestry sector.
